Tamar Valley Tourist Park

The Beauty Point Tourist Park offers self-contained camping accommodation in northern Tasmania. The Beauty Point Caravan Park is located on the banks of the Tamar River with some cabins having true waterfront views. The Beauty Point Caravan Park is located 45 kilometres northwest of Launceston on the West Tamar Highway. Beauty Point is a township originally established as the first deepwater port on the Tamar River and today is the site of the Australian Maritime College. Beauty Point Tourist Park, located at 36 West Arm Road, is an ideal spot for your base camp to explore the beautiful Tamar Valley. The unique position of the park means that you are only a short distance from the water. Enjoy a range of recreational activities when staying at Beauty Point Holiday Park, including a range of water activities. The waterfront setting adjoins a beautiful conservation reserve and manicured grounds in the park. Park has powered sites suitable for caravans, campervans, motorhomes, and tents. Park also has large sites suitable for buses. All sites have power, town water, sullage, excellent privacy hedges, and plenty of room. Please note large waterfront sites are subject to availability. Visit local attractions including Platypus House and Seahorse World. Drive 5 minutes and you will find the Beaconsfield Mine, the site of the ‘Great Escape.’ You can visit nearby Narawntapu National Park, take a cruise to see Australian fur seals or watch fairy penguins return to their burrows at dusk.

Small dogs are welcome to stay at the Tamar Valley Tourist Park in guests’ caravans and motorhomes, on selected sites.
