For $10 per vehicle per night, you can park your fully self-contained recreational vehicle in the carpark of the Zeehan Golf Club. The site is pet-friendly, and visitors are welcome to play green fees and enjoy a game of golf whilst stopping at this location. All sites are unpowered only. There are limited accommodation options in Zeehan for caravans and motorhomes, so this location is perfect for a stay while of up to 7-nights while you explore Zeehan and its surrounds. The area can comfortably accommodate 12 large self contained motorhomes or caravans and accompanying vehicles. Camping in tents is NOT PERMITTED. The maximum stay is 7 nights, which is charged at $50. Fires are NOT PERMITTED. All monies collected are used to assist with the running of the Zeehan Golf Club. Zeehan is a small mining town on the west coast of Tasmania, app. 140 kilometres south-west of Burnie. It is part of the West Coast Council, along with the seaport Strahan and neighbouring mining towns of Rosebery, Tullah and Queenstown. There is a lot to explore in and around Zeehan including a number of bushwalks including the easy historic Zeehan Spray Tunnel. The Spray Tunnel is located just out of Zeehan and is an easy 1hr (6km) return walk. You will find the start of the walk by heading north towards the end of the town centre and then turning left onto Fowler Street. Follow to the end past the golf course.
