You can stay for a maximum of 2 nights at this great little RV Friendly location Evandale Tasmania, just a short drive from Launceston Airport and Launceston City. It is located at Falls Park, cnr Logan Rd & Huxables Lane. Permits are free and available on-line. Please note you can't stay at this location on Saturday nights. All vehicles must leave before 10 am Saturday. To stay at the Evandale RV Friendly stop you must be fully self-contained and have water, shower, toilet and cooking facilities. Evandale is a small, historic and very attractive town in Northern Tasmania, located app. 18km south of Launceston. Evandale is set on a ridge overlooking surrounding farmland, agricultural holdings and the South Esk River. The irregular streets and distinctive architecture found in Evandale beautifully portray colonial village life of the past. Evandale was originally settled as a military post in 1811. The Evandale Market is an institution that operates every Sunday and offers fresh produce, food trucks, bric-a-brac and a range of different new and secondhand goods.

The dedicated free area is sign posted and is only available from Monday to Friday. All vehicles must leave before 10 am Saturday.
