The RV Friendly stop Franklin is Franklin located on the Foreshore Reserve and offers visitors access to short and long-term parking. This is a very attractive location, and ideal to explore the beautiful small town of Franklin that features some great cafes and eateries plus specialty stores. This stop is per-friendly, there are great areas for walking your dog on a lead. Please note the RV Friendly stop at Franklin is unavailable for the weekend of the November Festival Franklin. Franklin is a great little town to visit, with the town hosting regular events including the Focus on Franklin Festival, the Franklin Flower Show, the Huon Agricultural Show and annual school rowing events on the Huon River. To say at the Franklin RV Friendly campground you must be fully self-contained in a van that has shower facilities, water, a toilet and cooking facilities - NO camping in tents, cars or campervans etc,. The RV Friendly stop at Franklin has no facilities but there are nearby public picnic tables toilets, barbecues and a dump point - drinking water is available to fill tanks.
