This RV Friendly town in Tasmania is located at the Wynyard Showgrounds, which are just a short walk into central Wynyard where you will find all services including a Woolworths Supermarket, Hotel, cafes, chemist, petrol and more. This is a basic location and is flat and fully sealed. It is a great stop if you just need 1 night in Wynyard. Wynyard is a small agricultural town on the far north-west coast of Tasmania, Australia, and located app. 17 kilometres west of Burnie. At the 2011 census, Wynyard had a population of just over 5,000 permanent residents. The town is a regional hub servicing the surrounding rural areas – the Burnie Airport provides commercial flights to Melbourne and other districts.
