This is a large grassed area at the rear of the Exeter Hotel Tasmania, in the Tamar Valley in Northern Tasmania close to the town of Launceston. Overnight camping (24-hours) is permitted in fully self-contained RV’s only (no tent camping). Camping is free with the purchase of meals/drinks at the pub. Visitors are required to register with staff before setting up camp. This is a great little spot, with the small town of Exeter offering a range of services. Exeter is located in the rich Wine producing Tamar Valley a convenient stop if you are heading north or Northwest. See also:
